My name is Deidré Kriel, more affectionately known as Dee.

I’m a South African wildlife enthusiast, photographer, and passionate traveller with a deep love for my homeland, its wild spaces, and the efforts to protect them. My perspective is shaped by a multiracial and indigenous heritage, grounded in respect for nature and a deep curiosity about the stories it holds. I photograph to honour fleeting encounters with wildlife and the raw, untamed spirit of Southern Africa.

Life is fragile and fleeting. Through my lens, I seek to preserve moments that might otherwise be lost. Quiet encounters, wild rhythms, and rare glimpses of connection.
